Phoenix finally got his thumb splints, it only took 2 months. (Stupid insurance) He has only worn them 2x for about 20 mins and its like he forgets he even has hands with them on. He just sits there with his paddies in his lap and looks around. As soon as I take them off, his hands go crazy playing with toys. I guess its like everything else and will take time. Our PT mentioned that down the line a few months that he may also need orthotics for his feet/ankles. Right now he doesn't bare much weight on his legs but when he does his feet tend do roll to the edges. Always a wait and see thing. This week he has his first meeting with the speech therapist, i'm interested in what she will have us do to help him. We also have his 15 month check up, I can hardly believe that he is that old already. Time really does fly by when you have children.
My happy little man :)
