The little things

So normally when we go shopping I put Phoenix in the stroller since he can't sit on his own in a cart.  Well tonight we went to BJ's and decided to try P in a cart.  He actually sat and held on for most of our trip.  We were all so excited clapping and doing a happy dance.  People must have thought we were nuts.  Its those small things that make me so excited, with Tristen I never really thought twice about little events.  But with Phoenix just the small steps are huge.  I know in my heart that God gave me this little boy for a reason, and i'm so blessed.  Rocking him to sleep tonight looking into his sleepy face while he's holding my finger, I just sigh and know how lucky I am to be his mama.
