And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ~Romans 12:2~

Therapies, doctors appointments and crap oh my!

Well yesterday Phoenix had 2 therapies, physical and occupational.  I thought it would be ok to do two in one day and get them done with but my head was spinning at the end of the day.  Thankfully they write notes and tell me what to work on otherwise I would be lost.  In PT we are working on Phoenix being on his hands and knees and reaching at different levels for toys.  In OT we are working on self feeding, drinking from the cut out cup and reaching up higher.  Then in the beginning of the week we had speech therapy and I'm working on different sings and repetition of words.  On top of this all our PT is leaving schriber and going to another company so we are trying to keep the same schedule, with the same PT and its just a mess to make work.

Today Phoenix had his 15 month check up, he weighs 26lbs 13oz and is 31" long.  In the last 3 months he gained only 5oz (which is good he is a chunker!) and gained an inch.  80% for weight, and 45% for height.  I remember Tristen being on the shorter side till around 2 so we'll see if Phoeinx will follow him.

Phoenix's neurology appointment got moved up a few weeks, its now only a month away instead of 2.  I think I'm looking forward to a dx just so I can feel some closure and have a definite answer as to why he is behind. Then we have a starting point and something more exact to work from.

And now with Tristen he is seeing a GI specialist due to his constipation problem and that appointment is next week along with his Orto appointment Monday to get his splint off and xrays done.  We are hoping that after Monday no more splint and a healed finger.  These children keep me on my toes, and my mind sharp.  Thank goodness for all the calenders and appointment reminders too!
