Crazy that the summer is gone, I remember when it was spring and I couldn't wait for the warmer weather. But now i'm ready for the cool down. My mums want to bloom, apples are ready, boys birthday's are almost here, corn mazes, mmmm I love fall! (oh and my birthday is in there too ;)
The other week we had Phoenix evaluated with IU-13 and that went well. They would like to place him in preschool at S.June Smith right here in our town. YAY, now we just have to wait and see if they have an open spot. It would be half regular kiddos and half special needs and he would get all his therapies in class along with lunch on those days. We had to re-appeal for his gait trainer and surprise it was denied again saying it was not medically necessary. So our awesome physical therapist called a vendor and we are going to be getting a demo one that's used at a much discounted price. We have been saving up to get Phoenix a tablet pc for this ST and OT so we are lucky to have the money for that. Now we just have to start over for the tablet. Always something.
Tristen started pre-k last week and did well. We get a progress note at the end of every week and his teacher said he listens well to the teacher, plays well with others and likes to play blocks and play dough. She even sent home two pictures of him playing. So proud of my little boy. Three weeks till he is five, crazy how time flys. "The days are long but the years are short" so true!
And that.... is how the cookie crumbles.... ;)
