This year is passing me by way too fast. Next week is Thanksgiving then we are onto Christmas. (which I'm almost done shopping for!) Phoenix is also do for his annual IFSP review sometime next month. All four of his therapists are doing there testing to see where he falls developmentally and then we will meet and set goals for the next year. Last week his speech therapist did her deal and we were both surprised how well he did. He seems to be right on track with his cognitive abilities but of course has a big speech delay. One word that he is a pro at now is "mama" I just love hearing it. One of my favorite things is when he is done eating he puts his arms out and says mama so I pick him up then he snuggles into me and pats my shoulder while cooing. He is also saying his version of dada it sounds more like " ah ya" but you defiantly know that he wants Tim. And you should see Tim when he says it, his eyes light up....makes me proud! :)
Last week his fittings for the wheel chair and walker went well. The only issue is the insurance, they will only allow a certain amount of money for these items so it looks like we may only get one and more then likely will be the wheel chair. Add onto that, that it will take at least until spring for him to get it.
So that's about it, I'm trying so hard not to do too much Christmas stuff yet at least not until next Friday when Christmas will puke up in my house. But today the boys and I are going to start making our advent calender and maybe some cookies.... ;)
