Happy November!

Wow did November sure sneak up on me.  I know that it comes after October, but wow it feels like it was just summer and bam we get 6 inches of snow.  The leaves are pretty much all off the trees now and I've got to get outside and dig up my flowers, they look like death.  Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away then *gasp* its Christmas then the lull of a dead cold winter.  And the stupid farmer across the street waits till 9 pm to hull his stupid soy beans! (glad the boys can sleep through a monster of a tractor) Sorry randomness.

We had a good time trick or treating last night.  Went over to an awesome friends house the kids got to play and then we hit the town and come home with a bag full of goodies.  Now just trying not to eat the candy and give it to Tristen in moderation..the darn stuff will last us till next year! (or Tim will get fat from eating it for lunch everyday)

I've been trying to work with Tristen and get him to know his ABC's and its been a really trying time, so today we start another approach.  I found this awesome idea on Pintrest where you make a letter a week and the letter is actually an animal.  So today we did the A, and made it into an alligator.  Tomorrow we will read a book about something A, and so on and so forth.  This kid will know his abc's!  We also made it to the library for story time, where Tristen got to sit in his own class without me. ( a first)  Phoenix took a 3 hour nap, we made hand print turkeys, made a awesome pizza crescent thingy for dinner, worked alot with Phoenix on his walking and cut the kids hair.  I think it was a very productive and happy day.
