Wheel Chair

   Today Phoenix got to try out his first wheel chair, and did so amazing in it.  The Kpets therapy dog came out and I think helped with inspiration.  We put him in the chair and he instantly put his hands on the wheels and started to push like he's done it before.  His PT said it gave her the goose bumps to see him doing so well.  We really didn't think he would be able to get both arms out and push, but I think his love of cars and wheels helped that, and he is just an amazing kid to start with :)  The chair is only on loan for a few weeks till we can get the wheel chair company to come out and fit him with his very own.  His will have a higher back, better side supports and a little different positioning of the wheels.  He was so very happy to be able to move himself and go after his brother.  I think after his nap today we will try again when he is more rested!
