Surgery

We got everything squared away and Phoenix will have surgery to get tubes in his ears on August 23rd.  That's only 2 weeks away.  While this isn't a huge complicated surgery, my little boy must still go under and there is some cutting that goes on inside the ear drum.  Freaks me out.  We have to be at the hospital @ 5am and he is not to eat anything after midnight.  Thankfully my SIL is going to watch Tristen over night so we don't have to drag him out of bed and make him sit at the hospital with us.  The last time that Phoenix had to be put under was for his MRI last year, and I cried seeing him so lifeless.  I really hope all goes well and that these tubes help my little buddy out. 

The next two weeks are going to be crazy busy with appointments.  Thursday its a hearing screening, Friday Tristen has a GI appointment, next Tuesday Phoenix has his Neuro appointment in the morning then a pre-op health screening in the evening, and on top of all that this normal therapy schedule.  I'm ready for August to be over with.  I'm really looking forward to September, we are just going to take it easy and enjoy the beginning of fall.  And have 2 b-days in there also :)
