Goin' with the flow

Not much going on here (I guess that is a good thing!)  Phoenix had the first of his 3 pre-op appointments.  The hearing screening went well, she put us in a booth and played different sounds at various levels.  He didn't pick up the real quiet ones but she said that's normal for a child his age.  His hearing is right on par, which is a huge relief.  Now this week we have his pre-op doctor check up and an appointment with the anesthesiologist.  Along with his 6 month neurologist appointment, two therapies and a few MOMS club events. Whew!  But I'm looking forward to this week, I thrive in a crazy busy schedule.

We had Tristen's last GI appointment on Friday.  The doctor was very happy with how well his potty training went and told us that 3 more months of good bowl movements then we can start to taper down his medicine. YAY!

Totally different topic I've started to plan the boys bday party.  I look forward to this time every year when I get on the computer and brain storm what neat theme I could do.  This year its pirates...Arrgggg Matey!!  In the past we have done rather big parties but this year I'm so much more down with a very mellow small intimate one.  Tristen got to pick a few of his friends and those friends happen to have siblings around Phoenix's age so we're covered!  Let the ship saling begin :)  Have a marvelous week!!
