Behavior Specalist

Wednesday we had the first of three 90 minute sessions with the behavior specalist.  Phoenix liked her so that was good, she just basically observed him in his own environment and talked to us about general behavior stuff.  A few things she suggested to do is to teach him three specific signs so he feels like he can directly communicate with me.  She said that when they learn three signs it opens up the mind to learn more much faster. A cause and effect kinda thing.  We are to let him have safe cry out sessions, when he throws one of his fits we are to leave him alone (safley of corse) for a bit.  I am to make a list and keep track of what happens before he has a fit to see if we can find a common trigger.  We are very happy with these goals and i'm optomistc of the outcome.
