And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ~Romans 12:2~

Slacking am I...

It has been awhile since I posted a Phoenix update, so here ya go!  He is doing well, for the most part still loving preschool.  He had three weeks off over Easter where he became super clingy to me, but this last week we have seen improvement on that front.  Today was the first day where he didn't have a death grip on me with shrieks as I ran for the door.  He was all smiles and excited to see his friends.  Also last night at church I was actually able to leave him in the nursery without any cries.  And Tim is able to help him without any major melt downs.  It got so bad that at one point Phoenix didn't even want Tim to make him peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, mommy HAD to do it.  Talk about a LONG three weeks!  Went into his pediatrician yesterday and he is growing steadily at the 80th percentile, he is my tank!  Today he had to get some blood work done to check his blood platelets   We found a rash on his head, around his neck and on his face.  Something that normally happens when a child gets a bad cough and the blood vessels break.  Well he never had a cough so we are not sure why he has them.  He started with allergies really bad about two weeks ago but that's it.  Another joy that we have to deal with, poor kid was rubbing his eyes so much they swelled up on him.  Now he is on allergy meds, saline spray, rx nose spray and eye drops.  One thing I didn't want him to get from his mommy are my allergies.  And Tristen is in the same boat, we are allergic to anything that grows and the stuff that walks on 4 legs. :/    Tomorrow we are headed up to Hershey for another round of Botox.  The last round up at Hershey as the not so nice doctor will be leaving, so we are in the process of getting him seen down at CHOP.  This last round seemed to really have helped him, along with the baclofen his range of motion is improving.  And he is SLEEPING all through the night!  After 3 years I can finally get a good nights sleep as can he!  He is able to walk in his walker for longer distances and can turn it, he also has some awesome arm muscles from pushing his wheel chair.  So all in all, improvements abound.

Tristen is doing well, started up Tball and he is loving it.  Its so much fun watching him, and with every practice getting better at it.  He only has another month of school left, looking forward to spending the summer with him.  Phoenix will continue to have school through the summer with a few week long breaks about every month.  So we are just gearing up for warmer weather fun, and hopefully happier times :)

Love these guys!
