A journey through a path less traveled...: Busy little bee's.

Since I posted last Phoenix's casts came off and he has awesome range in his ankles. I can stretch them out and they actually move. He is doing really well, that extra therapy, the Botox and casts are letting him make huge strides in the right direction. We changed his gait trainer around where he has to use his arms more and he is pretty much walking from the sofa to the kitchen all by himself. He can do one pass takes a 5-10 minute break for his arms and little legs cause they are tired then he is all ready to keep going. He really likes walking out on our side walk. I can't wait till its warmer out and we can do it more. Another thing we noticed is that he hardly drools anymore. He is constantly playing with his tongue so maybe he is just more aware of it now and that's helping. And knock on wood he has been sleeping through the night for the last week!! Really hoping that the daylight savings time doesn't mess with that.

This morning we had our first soccer meeting for Tristen. His was the only U4 team that didn't have a coach and I just couldn't let that happen so me and another lady are going to be coaching his team the wolves :) And I know about as much about soccer as I do about car engines....not much! But I have a packet and the Internet so eh how hard can it be to coach five 3-4yr olds for 2 months.

Out driving the other day and saw an opening for a studio photographer at an auction house. I dropped off my application yesterday. Part time (score for me) and on weekends..not sure how that will work with coaching soccer....but I doubt I'll even get a call back for an interview. I've been out of work for almost 5 years now. It would be fun taking pictures of antiques...and feeling like I'm not throwing my college education down the drain.

So yup we are just trucking along busy as little bee's :)
