And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ~Romans 12:2~

"Knock on wood" But Spring might actually be here

Sorry for the long title, but spring is just making me happy as a peach today.  I planned out my food garden, and can't wait for Monday when Tim is home to start working on our little patch of dirt.  This is my first year for growing food so I'm starting out small with some carrots, snap peas and beans, pumpkins, sweet peppers, tomatoes and melons.  I may add some herbs in there as well.  It sounds like quite a lot, but we have a big patch to fill up.  I've researched like crazy this afternoon and have a notebook full of notes!  I've also sketched out my flower garden as well.  When it comes to flowers I'm sorta a pro...(not to toot my own horn or anything!)  I'm going to keep it simple this year and plant a garden just for butterflies.

It finally stopped raining and Tristen is getting an afternoon of playing outside in.  I feel safe this year just letting him out on his own to run around.  He doesn't go far and is always back inside to tell me there's a bug in his car. ;)

The rest of this month excites the crap out of me.  We have a very fun and special bday party tomorrow, lots of MOMs outside activities, egg hunts, family dinners, and a very fun awesome trip to sesame place just for special needs kiddos.

I am so happy and content with my life.  My husband who is wonderful and supports me in every way. Tristen who now that we don't watch TV all the time is a much more pleasant little boy to be around.  Phoenix just melts my heart. And thank goodness I think the worst of his teething is over.

Lookie, nobody behind him!!  My big boy :)

Yup, Tristen is crazy!
