CIO

CIO method really sucks, but we have to do something with Phoenix's sleeping habits.  The last few nights its been taking me 2-3 hours to get him back to sleep in the middle of the night.  I rock him for 30 mins till he is asleep then lay him down in his crib and he wakes up instantly.  I'm crying, he's crying I just can't take it, and he is a zombie during the day.  So now we are on night 2 of this crying it out.  Tim did it last night while he was by himself and said he cried for about 30 mins then was out.  Today we did it at nap time and he only cried for 10 minutes and was out.  And now we are going on him crying 20 mins but he sounds like he is just whimpering a little.  I'll give him a half hour then i'm going in.  Tristen was such an easy baby to get to sleep, you would just lay him down and he would fall asleep quietly in like 5 minutes.

Change of topic...Yesterday it was a beautiful day and we got to play and work outside.  I got my garden all worked and peas planted.  Tim got some ugly trees down and I had to drag Tristen in at the end of the day.  

A few funny kid moments from yesterday....

My husband was outside and saw Tristen talking to a fly trying to get him to play ball with him...the fly then flys off and Tristen goes to Tim...."I guess he didn't want to play" :)

While we were eating dinner a lovely stink bug was climbing down the window.....and Tristen says "Oh no mommy that bug is going to touch the tissues" this was in all seriousness and he was truly worried about those tissues!

Love these boys so much!
