Phoenix is still taking his baby steps. He is picking up more words. He said red, blue, buh bye, and a few others that I can't think of at the moment. I'm working really hard on trying to get him to say other words that don't make the "ba" sound since he has those pretty much down. And you can tell he wants to talk, when I say a word he is really interested in he stares at my mouth and moves his lips all around. Its rather cute :) He is also getting really good at cruising around the sofa. He actually picks up his own feet most of the time and will walk a little with my help. Before he would scream when I would try it, but now he actually pushes his own cars away from him so he can go and get them. Right now its hard to do much with him, he has a really good chest cold and just wants to snuggle and not sleep. Last night it took me till midnight to get him sound out and I had to lay in his bed with him. Man does my body ache this morning!
Tristen had a wonderful birthday. We took him to the book store for his free bday cookie and let him pick out a book. We then had my dad over for dinner and had an ice cream cake. The night before his bday we went to Burger King and let him play in the play center and went bowling. He got a leapfrog video game thingy that he hardly puts down. He will actually sit and play it for an hour and not make a sound. I must say it is nice when I'm trying to make dinner or help Phoenix with his therapy.
So that's about it for here. Next weekend is the boys bday party and I think I finally got all the non food items, and can't wait to start decorating and having fun with my boys! TTFN ;)
